I would second that. I have one and it's very similar in shape and size.My old Callaway apex pro was a very similar shape to that.... not sure about the brand new ones but cant imagine they have changed much
Thought these were more of a driving iron hybrid, something like this

TaylorMade SIM DHY Utility Iron Review
Neil Tappin puts a new club to the test in this TaylorMade SIM DHY utility iron reviewwww.golfmonthly.com
The he DHY and the Ping Crossovers are the new sort of “mini hybrid” - closer to a driving iron etc
I was (maybe wrongly) trying to stay away from something designed as a driving iron. Figuring since its primary use is designed to be from a good/great lie i.e a tee or fairway and it might lack in cutting through 1st cut grass as well as a hybrid head shape,
I just don't want a hybrid with a 'lump' on the end (I mean the business end)
This was the one before the DHY that was a bit more hybridy. I used one for a couple of months but ended up preferring a 7 wood.I was (maybe wrongly) trying to stay away from something designed as a driving iron. Yeah, I think that 'speed slot' gap behind the face was what they used. That was definitely on an old Adams club I had, that it turned up on the TM M2 I think.Didn’t they buy it due to a pattern that they wanted to use?
