I thought he retired about 10 year ago TBH. Was great until he tore his hamstring whilst at Liverpool, against Leeds I think it was after that he was never the same player, a yard or two of pace was lost and that was he biggest assett. Since he arrived back from Madrid I dont think he has been bothered more interested in breeding his racehorses.

Don't get me wrong, he was, I repeat, was a very good player, excellent goal poacher, but when he was at Newcastle I don't think his heart was in it and he was more than happy to sit in the treatment room counting his wages.
