My club have just launched a members benefits package, which I think is a great idea. These include:

-Free under 14s membership for a family member
-£10 for member and three guests each bank holiday Monday (stableford team event)
-10% off pro shop (over £50)

We are also getting vouchers for:

-3 free guest passes
-A golf day package (book for 24 people and get breakfast, golf and 2 course lunch for £40pp!)
-£50 voucher when you buy irons from the pro
-20% off Galvin Greens
-Free equipment check
-2 Main meals for £10
-Free appetiser with meal
-Free bottle of wine on your birthday
-Kids eat free

Some really forward-thinking promotions from my club. IMO this is completely necessary in today's competitive climate.

Slightly bragging-type-post, but genuinely interested in how this compares with your membership package...

We used to get a similar package with X amount of free buggies a year and so on, unfortunately this has now been stripped back to:

4 weekday passes to foxhills (parent club)
Member dines free on their birthday if dining with 3 others
4 guest passes

Yup that's it!

The old book included all sorts, buggies, range balls and so on
