I don't wish to diminish Senna's drive at Donnington in 1993 - it was indeed spectacularly good, and I was always (and remain) a Senna fan.For those old enough this was Senna esque as he did in a wet race at Donnigton all those years ago
BUT... what Max did yesterday was possibly better. He achieved what he did in spite of bad tyre strategy. On the other hand, (apart from the stunning first lap) Senna did what he did at Donnington in large part because he had a better tyre strategy than his rivals on the day. I think Max's drive yesterday was possibly more akin to Senna's at Monaco in 1984.
