I know sentencing in this country is a joke but 8 years for 8 offences to me is not right and if he is paroled after 4 then 6 months for a sex offence is just criminal.

they had said the max he could get due to the time era was 2 years, so its good he gets 8, would prefer it to be much longer though or the very least a MIN 8 with no parole

Had the offences have occurred now and not historically he'd have been tried for rape on each count and could have faced up to life

I hate this "at the time of the offences" nonsense. He's in court now knowing he isn't going to get the sentence he truly deserves.
Slimy git a the best of times and I wasn't shocked when he was pointed out as an offender.
