Masters- How much would you pay and Gross Score

£200-300 or maybe even more.

As for the score, it's very wide and with my short but straight game, I reckon I could break 100. In fact, I'm going to go for a 98. If 80 is my benchmark a.t.m. that's 1 extra shot for each hole....(1 extra putt!!!)

As long as I could stop the ball with my wedges on the 13th and 15th, I'd be hopeful of at least 1 par.

Having said all this, there'd be so many sidehill/uphill/downhill lies it could be tough. I'd need a caddy for sure.

If they had Green Fees I'd take one look at them and say "How much?" It would be at least 400-500 quid or put another at least 5 times more than I'd like to pay.
As for score - well, breaking 100 would be the target. Unless you play on quick greens all the time - and I mean quick - then 3 putts on most greens would be commonplace.
If I got a par I'd be ecstatic!

I'd probably be prepared to shell out £300 or so for the priviledge, but wouldn't be upset or surprised if I scored over 115 or so.

EDIT: Isn't there somewhere in the UK where they've recreated Amen Corner? I'm sure I read about it somewhere. Three holes built exactly like the 11th, 12th and 13th at Augusta. Might be a possible spot for a mini-Masters event one day?!

I think I probably pay up to $500 to play the course but I suspect I be landed with a hefty bill afterwards for the course repairs that would be needed on the fairway - either that or there'd be some interesting new bunkers on the course for next years event!!

I'd make the most of being there too and aim to get around in at least 200 :-)

Rather surprised at the low valuation placed on playing there.

I'm not one for playing famous courses, I'm much happier having a card in my hand and something to play for, whether that be the monthly medal, or an Open somewhere.

However there is one glaring exception to my own rule, and that's Augusta. It is without doubt top of my (very short) list of places I'd love to play. For that reason I'd gladly save £500 for the priviliege, and quite possibly more than that.

Score? Right after/before the Masters, then lucky to break 100 (off 8) due to the greens, in a 'members' state, then it will just become another course, and low 80s would be the target.
