It’s about a 1 mile from me and I played it last year in a Derbyshire & Cheshire lge match . It was in great condition but I wouldn’t say it’s anywhere near the hardest golf course I’ve played . Greens were very fast though .we played off whites not the tips

Just look at the scoring from the event. I think only 1 person broke par and a lot of people were double digits over. A close friend of mine played in it and he said Pete’s score of +3 was phenomenal for there. The greens did look scarey fast.

I live a mile away and if I fell out with my club I still wouldn’t join Marple . It’s a little bit like bomb alley in a section . As I say , the greenkeeper as done a fantastic job and made the course from being a short Mickey Mouse course to a now respectable, great condition tricky course
