A trifle embarrassing for Fergie and his boys as they got a sound wupping from the relative Premiership boys of West Ham.

A 4-0 thrashing and a lesson in how to play football.

What amazed me about this is that when we won the carling cup, the deluded mugs from the cardboard castle, who incidentally are all well hard and related to the krays, never stopped going on at us about what a mickey-mouse 2-bob cup it was.

Now they are in with a shot at it though you would think it was the greatest competition in the whole of world football, their caravans are literally rocking with excitement at the thought of a cup-run.

We can let them have their moment though, because they will be in for a hiding from the woolwich wanderers either in the semi or final.
