Im off to Malaga at the end of June, and unbelievably have been given a free pass from the wife to play golf! Anyone got any advice on what's the best way to book? Go direct to golf clubs? Wait till we get there? Book in advance? Book through an agent? Any advice would be grateful!

Ps sorry about posting in out of bounds, new to this and still a bit green!

I'm over there with some mates in August - and we booked via these guys:

http://www.golf-service.com/

I looked at several other websites, but these were the cheapest for the courses we wanted to play.

Also, they have been in contact since about some special offers we can get on eg one of the courses we booked is now offering a round including buggies for the same price we paid for the golf only - and they have upgraded us to that free of charge etc. Can't complain about the level of service at all - just hope everything goes ok when we are out there!

Hi,
Have used golf services as well and would reccomend them if you email them and ask them to give u a list of clubs where the buggy is included as u need one in spain that time of the year and it will keep the costs down.

Either way but book before you go as those courses get very busy. Played La Cala 2 years ago when the ladies PGA qualifying school was on - very hard to concentrate on golf! ;)

La Finca (Algorfa) which is a bit out of the way from Malaga I know has a gr8 deal on at the moment.

Play after 12 noon and it's 25 euros a round and after 4pm its only 5 euros.

Well worth the travel to play a great course for so little.

I played La Finca twice last year, once on my own with my girl driving the buggy and second time I went out with another guy.
