We have been invited to friends for dinner on Sunday night. None of them have any interest in golf so there will be no chance of watching the Masters. What do I do? Help!

are they good friends? if so they will understand your passion and re-arrange!

All you'll do all night is wonder whats happenening at the Masters, they'll kindly put the TV on in the background and you'll be anti social for not joining in the conversation, re-arrange for Sat night or NEXT Sunday, solved!

it is important that you consider others at times like this - ask your other half what wine she wants to take with her, and if she would like picking up afterwards....

This...........then duck :o

Im sure your friends and wife wont mind it on in the background as long as your not sitting completely glued:thup:

You think that you've been done like a kipper! I agreed months ago to go to my wifes choir quiz and yes I didn't know what it clashed with!!

Bet they dont have the question - What would you have been doing if you weren't here tonight?

I have my aunt and cousin coming round for dinner on Sunday night. Organised by mrs mogs. The same mrs mogs who always has us visit her parents on open sunday. She must hate me.

Does HID really want to go. If not phone them and sayterribly sorry but the wife's gone down with a bad migraine. If she does, either offer your apologies up front and ask to rearrange or send her along on her own and pick her up later. Recording it is an option but it'll be a "Likely Lads" scenario trying to avoid the result until you watch it
