Got mine from the gm fitting day. I had a sldr i didn't want to part with. Distance is identical but its a much more forgiving club, much more!

Agreed, hits out of the heel are 15 yards longer.

one of the many i have on the go at the moment... def more forgiving than the Mizuno and the Callaway

I had a hit with the 430 with the rogue silver in and it felt amazing. Had it for 18 holes whilst mine was having the shaft cut down. Will almost certainly be my next purchase.

I bought the M1 earlier in the year at the TM tour truck day.

M1 gave me slightly better stats than the M2 and i preferred the extra weight of the M1. Both awesome clubs.

Cost wise, not a problem, I only upgrade my clubs every 8 years or so, so no big deal and works out pretty good value. I don't understand the people who buy new drivers (or clubs) every year or two.

430 is quite a bit less forgiving imo and did not spin more or less for me.

Shaft wise I have not tried any of the stock options but picking the best loft and settings will help with spin quite a bit more than shaft. I have a 9.5 set down to 8.75 and open. You can also find tune a few more RPM with the back slider but not really much more than that.

I dont tent to hit driver out of the heal but my miss tends to be low on the face. The ball goes out low but so forward and with so little spin with my set up rolls and rolls and I recon is often longer than my flush one.

ive experienced the same thing low on the face, I reckon at least an extra 20 yards but like you say, most likely due to the lower trajectory
