anyone read the speel about this club. filled with gas and has a heated rechargable headcover. the headcover heats the gas up to the perfect temperature, im not making this up.

now the question if it said Titleist on it or TM or any other big name brand you would buy it. but because it is Lynx it may well be a NO.

i think this is the real reason thecraw is selling his gear to fund this new driver £350

I don't think you can judge too much by a brand name as look where Nike were at first in golfing terms and where they are now!

Saw them advertised in GM mag, intrigued to see one in action.

Read something about this the other day, there were some pictures to. Will have to find the link and i'll post it up, it had the official spiel from Lynx on it to. Never mentioned gasses in the head, can't see how that'd be possible anyway with a leak proof chamber built into the head which would add weight.

The bit I read stated it was built from some metal that reacts well to heat so the headcover with recharging battery keeps the face warm to allow for hot contact thus meaning longer drives.

Oh and It had a bright red head on it!

blend of gasses inside it and the biti head react with the heat to give best results

[h=2]How it works[/h] When heated, the special blend of gases inside the bi-titanium head increases pressure, so when the ball is struck the transfer of energy between the club and ball is maximised and provides a longer and straighter drive.

Don't knock Lynx. They made some cool stuff in my youth. The Parrallax irons were absolutely great and propelled Couples to the Masters title too.

My dad still has a set of those in the garage, quite a nice looking bit of kit. Also didn't Els win his first major with them.
