Anyone played Luton Hoo? we are having a weekend at the Hotel for my wife's 60th birthday, myself and two son in laws plan at least one game while the ladies enjoy the spa. Looks quite a long course

Ryder Cup Winner
Played in the H4H heroes game that Rick organised there last year. Personally not my favourite course. It feels like it should be so much more as you drive in up the long lane with all the magnificent trees but the course itself is badly designed for me, doesnt utilise the trees they have and has 0 bunkers so looks a bit bland in places. Was in ok condition when we played it but wouldnt be high on my to play list

Whilst I agree with my friend Fundy in part about the course potentially being so much better, I actually quite enjoyed playing it last year in the H4H and thought there were a number of pretty good holes on the course. Seems sensible to play it if you ask me if the ladies are in the Spa. Or alternatively, really treat yourselves and go 20 minutes up the road to Woburn!
