Looking for new moderators

If I volunteer, and then, in the course of my duties Begin to worry about the mental health of a forum member who may or may not be a member of an Open Rota course, could I use this as a reason to get in my car and travel 265 miles to stay at his house and play his course at guest rates for a week? Purely in order to help them. Obviously......

Yeah that should be fine as long as they may not be a member of an Open rota course. Obviously...... ;)
 
So swearing 4 times (3x4=>10)gets you a ban; is that in one post, one thread, one day?
 
Asking for an ex friend Phil. Seem to recall he was from The Dundee area and was a cab driver, cannot remember his name exactly , something like Cabber!

First one gets an infraction, which is live for 3 months, it is then assumed that you know that it isn’t allowed

A second offence while the first is still live ( 3 months) would trigger the ignoring mod advice 8 pointer and a holiday .

Someone swearing twice in very quick succession. Who hasn’t had an infraction for the first one yet would get 2 x 3 pointers and the next one would trigger a holiday

Clear as mud I know,
Want to be as transparent as possible here, but focusing on infractions and bans is only a fraction of what we do
 
I would be interested if it came with a moderator's coat. Because most of the things I post, I end up getting mine.
 
I reckon it could be an easy enough job, if you set your stall out early:
SILH et al: don’t try to wind up the far right
Socketrocket et al: don’t try to wind up the far left
Homer: don’t post contradictory stories
Fish: don’t post when pissed
Liverpool Phil: don’t post
Everyone else: carry on
sorted ?
