I know its late notice, but I was due to play a medal tomorrow (12th) but the course is waterlogged and now a par 3, 9 hole course, so I'm looking for a round tomorrow morning somewhere in the cambridgeshire area. Could be tempted to go further out.

Any one else at a loose end?

A bit late for me now Philly but if you fancy something during the week before Woburn where I believe we have been drawn together (sorry mate). Your place is wet, my place (Girton)will be damp, could always take a drive to Royston or somewhere where it'll be dry on the recipricol?? Weekday afternoon 22 or 24th good for me if you fancy it.

let me know

Random fact, I played in a tournament with Daniel Brooks at Royston once, he was obviously pretty good but good on him, must have progressed immensely now.

I played a practice round and made a note to not go over the green from the tee on a short par 4 cos the wind was so strong behind. 3 days later the wind had turned 180 degrees and I hit driver, 6 iron 😃

Off topic Paddy but how is Ollie getting on at your place?

Didn't realise there were other cambs locals!!

Not met him yet but seems to be getting some clinics arranged and offering fittings etc.

Yep Royston is not the longest on the card but with the wind can be a beast;cracking course IMO
