reading that it would seem we will all be playing golf on wide open courses with very short rough and greens like billiard tables ,with a maximum stimp of 10.5.
anyone know a good bowls club?

Ready golf has been around as long as I've been playing the game.
 
I didn't download the guide yet, but read the online article.

Under the headings "Fairways and Rough", "Trees" and "Greens", what the R&A is basically saying is that if you set up a course to make the game easier, it will take less time. No sh*t, sherlock! Who would have thought that? Talk about stating the bleeding obvious.
