Thats right. Teign Valley Golf Club in Devon, it has a board on the 496-yard 17th tee box explaining that a member had a hole in one on this par five.

A guy at Tain got a hole in one at the 377 yards par 4, 7th. it was down wind and the guys was off plus handicap and it was in the final of the club champs (scratch) it was quite amusing as the guys he was playing knocked it on the green and was over the moon... it was short lived though.

When I played it and read the board I thought the same :WOW!! When you play the hole you can see how it was done, the fairway goes straight, along a tree line for around 140 yards then turns left and down a massive hill. This guy hit a three iron cutting over the corner, the ball hit the fairway and rolled all the way down the hill onto the green and into the hole.

There is a plaque at Royal Norwich where a guy got consecutive holes in ones one a par three then next a par four can't imagine that's too common.

The 11th at Littlestone is quite an easy hole.
