Had a nudge with an 180° variant but prefer the flight and softer landing 5 wood.

I'm wondering whether I can live with the difference between my wood and 4 iron or just buy a 21° iron/hybrid iron.

Bet that 180° does not go very far. Easy to launch though...

How often will you really need it? Will it push another club out of the bag? I know that I have no real need for D,3w and 5w so was happy to let the 3wd go as I can still hit the 5wd pretty far and high to bridge any gaps, the 1i goes equally far if not further and lower and still have 3-pw, 53 and 56.

I only carry 13 clubs so it's more a luxury than a necessity.

There is a gap between my 4 iron and 5 wood. It's whether I need something to bridge it and if it will see use around my track that's the question.
