Our fourball today was aware of lone player playing up short of the green we were on.
He seemed to be in a bit of a hurry too!

As we teed off at the next hole we noticed him quickly chip on and putt out.

He almost ran over to the tee where we were teeing off.

He looked at us, four somewhat bewildered players and says
"I say chaps could I play through,

If it is true, then good on him for asking rather than just pushing in. Also hats off for making sure he finishes what he starts before starting something new. Will she be his wife for long......................

A singleton has standing on our track (is that generally the case now?) but I guess the 'when playing a full round' still stands.

I was by myself Sunday evening and cut across from our 5th to our 12th. Three ball playing out 11th green - I stood to side of tee out of the way. I didn't say anything as I knew I had no standing. They tee'd off. Then asked if I was playing in and if wanted to play down with them. Even though I had no standing I rather felt it was the courteous and right thing for them to do. Well done guys.

If they hadn't been on the green when I arrived at the tee I would have tee'd off - however if at any point I was at risk of holding them up I'd have let them through.
