So then....... Up until this season I've took golf a bit too serious and had many lessons and spent many hour on the practice range trying to ingrain all the things I've been told on lessons. Tbh I haven't seen huge improvements in this time although I have understood why the pro has been telling me the things he has.

The only real improvements have come from learning a bit of course management.

However this season I decided to have no lessons at all and not go to the range and try focus on playing as much golf as I can on the course. The main thing I've done is just let it flow with my natural swing and not have any thoughts while taking practice swings etc.

The results have been amazing and I am playing the best golf of my life. The big question is now I have an £80 shop credit after a recent comp win do I spend the cash on lessons?

Sorry for long post

Simple answer is no

It's clear you are enjoying your golf and playing well so treat yourself to some new clothes or shoes or club etc

If you're playing well and enjoying it, then carry on as is. If you have more credit come the end of the season and want to do some winter work then consider having a lesson or two then, but for now, just carry on enjoying yourself and treat yourself to something shiney!

What everyone else says. Treat yourself to something out the pro shop.
