Hi Guys,

On my quest to build my bag back up and have decided to stock with my current pokey wedges, but would like to get them lengthened and reshafted, looking at DG spinner shafts but wanted to know about lie changes and lengthening and how I should approach this, i am 3deg upright and 1 inch longer in the irons.

Any help would be appreciated! Worried about changing these too much as they are the clubs I need to be most sure about!

If you want to do that much work on them, I'd suggest it's actually worth upgrading to the SM5s, not something I'd normally suggest! Find a Pro/Fitter that specialises in Wedges. As the current ones have served you pretty well in the past, they can at least act as a fall-back. It would be a bit of a disaster (or at least hugely disappointing) to 'destroy' something that works well and then not be happy with the replacement!

As alternatives to Vokeys, ICY? Your Avator indicates a pretty good Wedge producer too!

Edit: Rene Cleaver at ClubMasters is reasonably local to you, and may be able to help, http://www.clubmasters.co.uk/index.html
