Afternoon chaps and chapesses,

For right-handed golfers (and obviously the other way round if left-handed), I'm interested in what your left elbow/forearm should be doing.

Previously my arm has always been quite straight and almost 'locked'. I've felt tense on my left and this tenseness carries up to my left shoulder.

I've just got back from the range where I focussed on really relaxing my left elbow, to the point where it almost feels like a chicken-wing at address, and I found I hit my shots much better.

Obviously it's difficult to say without looking, but is relaxed the right thing? How should you left arm/elbow feel at address? Tense and straight, or loose to the point of having bend in the elbow?

Thanking you muchly.
