Does anybody use one? In this modern age of rubbers and composites. Does any ody still use a leather grip on their putter?

I'm considering regripping me Scotty over the coming weeks with a bigger grip. Nothing too obscene like a Fatso, but maybe just a midsize grip.

I seen a few Pittards and Gripmaster grips that I've taken a fancy to. Both are leather and far from cheap but look pretty good and have good reviews.

Does anyone on here have a leather grip on their putter? Of so, how do you rate them?

Iguana do a leather grip for putters as well which I think is better priced than the others you mention. I think the 'tack' and 'grip' is very good with leather especially in wet/damp/humid conditions.

Thanks for that pal

I hear many good things about leather grips on putter, but equally some bad.

Slippery eel in the wet springs to mind.

Out of the two,the Gripmaster is just shading it at the minute.

I have just purchased an Iguana Golf Tour Leather putter grip for my Yes Putter as the Winn putter grip that was on did not last five minuets.

I must see it feels and looks great. It was well priced at www.AdoreGolfGrips.com
£9.95 for a leather grip was pretty good I thought – they also stock Grip Master but they are treble the price.

They also do Snake Skin, but these were not for me.

All the best

Interesting.

They are a bit dear on the Gripmasters.

The grip I'm looking at is the Gripmaster Ethiopian Kid Paddle Putter Grip in Midsize (EKPS-PAD60-BLK-BLK) and is, quite literally, half those prices.

On all other grips they generally look very competitive. 9no Golf Pride 2G with free tape for £29.95 and 9no Black Widow Tour Silk White for £19.95

Which is all well and good, but I'm after a putter grip

For what they are asking for the standard Pittards stitch back, I could get one of GM's exotics (Snake/Lizard/Ostrich) elsewhere for the same money.
