Spending too much time working on your perfect posture........get in and post!😂👍

The ironic part is that I don't really practice much.
I'm more like Phil, I practice on the course rather than the range.

Probably why I still play off 5!!

I was watching Arnold Palmer V Gary Player yesterday on TV, Arnold seemed to me ( as a relative newcomer to the game) , to have a rather unorthodox swing, but he did ok with it didn't he !...which made me think that perhaps hours spent on the range honing the perfect swing, might not be as necessary as I first thought.

Well I think everybody is wrong - because the entirety of golf swings, practice, natural or learned skill is all reduced down to a single concept and word.

Velocity.

It doesn't matter what the swing looks like, it all leads towards giving the ball a velocity. Magnitude and direction. There are infinite ways to achieve the same ball velocity. The golf swing is an infinite concept, there is no right or wrong, good or bad. All that matters is moving the ball.

Some humans are better at moving the ball than others. Doesn't matter how it's done. We chose to do it with sticks because that's the rules of the game we've invented but all that matters is moving the ball. People who move the ball in a repeatable and predictable way are better at playing the game. The game is moving the ball from one point to another point. That's it. Velocity. That's golf.

Deal with it.
