Carlisle course at Aglionby (not Eden which is also in Carlisle) is a parkland course and is on par with Silloth (Links) IMO.
Am there on Tuesday on the way up to the Open

My mate played Brampton for first time yesterday and fell in love with the place! (25 degrees and no wind helps I'm sure!).How many golf balls would be required? I don't know about Brampton but everything I've seen and heard about the other 2, fill the boot
No denying you might leave Silloth and Southerness a couple of balls lighter than you started with. Silloth in particular though at least leaves you with a smile on your face after it's beaten you up. I've always left Southerness with a grudging respect after being battered there - I tell myself next time it won't be quite as windy/tough, but each time it's been exactly the same!
