I am currently in the market for some new balls and was wondering if it worth my while buying some lake balls from Ebay. Has anyone here bought any? And if so, is there any noticable difference between them and new ones? what about refurbished balls? are they worth a go? Advice anyone?

If it makes any difference, I play off 10 but I have achieved this playing with any old ball that I happen to have lying about in my bag. I have been advised however, that if I am serious about getting down to single figures I should try some balls out for feel etc and continue using the same ball all the time.

What do you all think?

KEEP AWAY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Avoid 'REFURBS' at ALL costs. The Pro V1 logo is NEVER in the right place and for all we know the could be ...........

MOLITOR

Find the wee guy who tramps your course looking for 'previously loved' balls and buy them from him. I get mine for £6 per dozen and they are almost 07 reg.
