Labour Party face bankruptcy

I would be very surprised if one or more rich benefactors didn't bail them out.

This must be what happens when the working class lacks solidarity.
People voting against their own best interests economically because of social opinions seems to be the definition of contemporary Western Civilization.

you actually think the Labour Party is working class? Wow. That stopped with Blair in the 1990s. But maybe you were referring to the fact that Trade Union Subs still fund it. That is the actual con

This is the Labour party now lead by the Barrister (not Barrista) Sir Kier Starmer. Not exactly working class.

You are not from here, so it's no bother, but happy to educate.

Tell certainly don't tell you when you join the Union that part of your monthly payment goes directly to the labour party.
When a bunch of us at work opted out of the labour donation when Corbin became leader we got hounded for weeks with phone calls from the GMB headquarters

I was the financial / accounting department's office steward (union rep), an elected executive board member, and an elected convention delegate with our local.
I may have a different view of organized labor than some of you.
Our personal opinions are informed by our personal experiences, perhaps.

And isn’t it sad how the majority so wilfully accepted the gun the Tories offered them and shot themselves in the foot.
They only did what the media told them.
The irony the other week was the politicians complaining about the media breaking news they should not have ... yet they made no effort to support Levenson or penalise the bad behaviours and we still have people who openly flaunted human rights with media careers ..
You cannot blame the public, they are just mushrooms.. kept in the dark and fed manure

All too true but it’s depressing how people can’t see through the spin.

Sadly we are all guilty of it .. we read stuff we believe it the sources look credible but in the end the key question is to ask to see the evidence the primary data .. the facts. I think a lot of people speculated about the labour leadership, but in reality no one had any experience of this leadership running the country they believed all the papers and were too scared to actually take the opportunity to experience it first hand..and the same for the liberals (although Clegg was fresh in our minds, but if we dissect his tenure he was just a puppet being played by the Tory masters and wasn’t clever enough to sort it out) .
All I can say, is take every promise and judge them by it at the end of the day. Don’t except excuses, make the judgement and if they fail, give the opportunity to someone else.
