Kids say the most inane things

Driving nipper from footy to cricket training this morning and he ‘wanted to talk’. So we talked for a few mins about Brexit and what he had heard - some which was funny. Then the topic turned to Minecraft.
For the next 30 mins he went into a verbal discourse that - for the life of me I could not comprehend. How in creative mode he created the house and what was on the enchanted table and the rare materials and mobs and ocelot et al
I am a techie and a washed up gamer, so if I put my mind to it, i m sure i will understand. Now I know why my Dad did not understand me is the same as me not able to understand my 9 yr old.

Yup got two of them! both of them went through a phase of watching kids playing Minecraft on YT, so did a lot of our friends kids, i found it bizarre as the game is pretty boring!

Jim, I've got grand kids long passed that stage lol, I just hope i live long enough to see my oldest great grand child become any kind of teenager, she's 7 ATM . BTW I was a perfect teenager

Yup it’s startrd!! What a bizarre thing to do! Watching other people play.. But it is one hell of a treat if there is homework to be finished.

I m sure I will a grunting teen soon, even now I struggle to understand the response to ‘how was school today’ ..
