Katie Hopkins - Is she for real?

TV programmes?

Yes - I can say for certain as I've seen them advertised or trailed - but I've never watched a minute of CJ or DoI (I actually have no idea what CJ is...about?, DoI I can guess). I admit to having watched a few minutes of The Voice (series One first show probably) but it's tiresome.

See, if it isn't on the sports channels, it tends to get missed by me.

Watch a fair bit of NCIS, but only because the wife is addicted to it. See quite a bit of Top Gear too, only becuase little un like it.

Am I missing much?

I know precisely who Holly Willoughby is and it's fair to say she'd get it.

Not fussed by some middle england bint with right wing views on kids names/social status, especially considering she's a munter.

but to clarify, Holly is bang tidy.

Watched it this morning and in the end I felt sorry for the daft cow that she could sit there and actually believe the garbage she was spouting. I loved the lady (of Irish origin?) who cut her to pieces at every opportunity and Holly (double airbag) Willoughby for blasting her to pieces. Sad that idiots like this get coverage and their archaic views get airtime

I do understand that some will find names like 'Jaden' Chantelle' and 'Tyler' appropriate in our modern liberal, wishy washy society. I just see them as a bit, well how can I put it. Pikey :mmm:

I think this too. When you choose a name for a kid you usually agonise over what it's going to be called. It's theirs for life. Many names are sorted through and the discarded. We dropped loads of names because they reminded us of little gits when we were at school. we also looked at family names but used these as middle names instead and went with Finlay and Oliver.

Choosing a made up, chavvy or crazy name does show what kind of person you are. Frank Zappa was a fruitcake so Dweezil and Moon Unit seemed good options to him. Not too many of us would saddle our kids with that now would we?

If your little treasure did bring home a Diesel or Chardonay to play with you would think to yourself, eek what were those parent thinking? This would then affect your thoughts on whether you actually want your kid to get involved with them. I kind of get where she is coming from but to actually say no you cannot even entertain the child is rubbish.

I think that Tyler is going to give her child a hell of a beating for slagging him off on national tv

I don't believe she believes the garbage she spouts. It self-promotional and deserves to be appropriately ridiculed.

I agree re the coverage, but that's a consequence of the marketing style the media has found works. Who's fault is that?

I'd be very interested to hear what you think of these names. And I'll give you a clue, there's the chance that I may take exception to one of your responses.

Certainly wouldn't give those names to any kids of mine. Max perhaps (actually no), but the extended version seem somewhat pretentious. At the other end of the scale, I wouldn't use Stacey, Tracey or Sheila either. If that seems rather middle of the road, that's probably appropriate as far as names are concerned. All kids are special and don't need to have 'special' names imo. There's also a lot more 'down side' to those sort of names imo. And remember the 'Boy Named Sue' song?

I watched the Youtube clip to see what the fuss was all about regarding this "on-air bust up".

Woman voices ignorant opinion, is made to look silly, digs a little deeper for a reaction and is then told to wind her neck in. Great.

9 and a half minutes of my life i'll never get back unfortunately.

Can't believe some of you haven't heard of,or more importantly seen Holly Willoughby:confused:
Ya missing a right treat :whoo:

Im actually surprised HW didnt actually lean over and punch her in the face? That nose is a hell of a target! Im sure the kids will be disowning this ridiculous women in time to come. I feel sorry for them.... :( What a complete joke.

Mind you, she'd fit right in my village with all the Hugo's, Horatios and Cordelia' Momma's and Pappa's knocking about!
