Just had my first lesson in with the pro 😃

Hi all.

I've just had my first lesson with my clubs pro and I'm happy with how it went.
I'm new to golf so he started from the grip and then went though my swing.

He was impressed with my grip and didn't want to change that, which was nice.

My swing on the other hand was a different story 😀.

I had far to much movement in my legs, so he's got me swinging with my feet together so I only really move from my hips up, feels funny at first but the balls are going nicely now so I'm happy to keep practicing like that.

We had a nice chat during the lesson which went on for 3/4 hour instead of the 30 minutes booked.

Looking forward to the next one now.

Has anyone got any more advance on how to stop bending my legs so much thar I can practice aswell??

you'll need to give us more detail, bending up/down/ swaying bending to left/right etc etc describe what happens and what the pro told you to do (99 times out a 100 I would do as he said and not what well meaning internet forum golfers recommend)
 
I would just stick to practising what he told you. Its your first lesson, he will probably introduce another aspect when you see him again.

I will be taking everything he has told me and drilling them at every opportunity I can.

And just for the record, it was my left knee/leg bending.
