You said no other manager behaves like this,I was simply pointing out that Pardew head butted a player a few wk back.
When Suarez takes a dive & people bring up his many inexcusable past incidents you say it's in the past. Come on phil keep up

Your inital constant attention was flattering

Now it's quite scarey tbh

Can you try and reply to others

Cheers

I appreciate all fans have rose tinted glasses but yours really are Liverpool red :whoo:

All managers and players would be the same, be realistic at least.

You really think all managers would go up to a ballboy and act like he did ?

It happens in every game - how many other managers have gone up to a ballboy and told them they could get a slap ?

Sorry but no - not all managers would be the same

But how many players have bit a fellow player?? What's worse??

Phil, have you seen it? The lad was smiling ear to ear after Mourinho had spoken to him,
. If he was telling him he's about to get slapped he'd be ******** himself.

I'm not a fan of Mourinho but this has been blown way out of proportion.

If you really believe Liverpool are a bastion of sportsmanship and morality over all others and at the cost of winning you are deluded IMO.

Yeah why not they aren't dagenham and redbridge are they?

I don't support any team, I am not lumbered with any footballing emotions, if I get to see man UTd or Chelsea I will, if get a ticket for Fulham I will .. I don't care I like quality football and want to see the best of the moment at their best.
Hold on a minute. You can't have it both ways. EITHER you like quality football and want to see the best OR you get a ticket for Man U or Fulham. Those two things are mutually exclusive.

I agree, it was nothing more than a fatherly chat, if a son of mine did something at a time that someone could get wound up and over react, then I would warn him of the potential consequences, those consequences wouldn't be right either but they could happen because of the provocation.

Food for the haters this, nothing else.

With all the advertising boards, do we really need ball boys and if we do, maybe we shouldn't have "children" as ball boys?

To be fair, and I was at the match, he just looked like a dick for what he did, the lad was almost certainly a "local" and so I reckon he could sort out Maureen and half the Chelski team without any backup!

So the beaming smile was one of 'joy from having riled the oppo's Managers' then!

Jose up to his usual tricks of down-playing result - whichever way it goes. I was happy to see him back for the entertainment value of his 'mind-games', but everybody seems to be ignoring him. Still have to give him huge credit for the 'not losing at home' run. The Draw at Emirates is probably the best consolation - little change from those 2. He'll probably become a London Club supporter for the next couple of games Liverpool play - I'd certainly appreciate them losing next weekend:whistle:!

It does amuse me watching/reading/hearing otherwise rational folk when it comes to 'their' club. Like a fox in a chicken run, the red mist and selective memory just seems to take over/dominant. And the vast majority don't go to games anyway so, like me, are really 'followers' not 'fans'.

Didn't say I was going to watch Fulham they might have been playing Liverpool or arsenal ! I know guys with season tickets who cannot attend all games and will sell odd games. Fulham is just good value compared to other premiership clubs and is nearby ish.

Now i have justified myself !

What right does Mourinho have to give a random child a "fatherly" chat at a football match?

Threatening a child (regardless of context) that he maybe hit by a professional adult isn't very "fatherly".

What an interesting morning read. No longer need to buy a Sunday paper, just visit the out of bounds section.

Two things learnt today are: (A) Suarez is now a saint as it's all in the past (although I believe once is a mistake, however twice is a habit) and (B) Mourinho is such a warm hearted classy individual and now wondering where the leaders in the club get their lack of class from.

On the plus side hopefully Spurs will turn up today!!!!

I hope they turn up too or there won't be a football match

Typical thread where the OP has nothing to do with Mr Suarez yet it gets turned into a Suarez is no saint thread.

Obsessed.......

Or purely pointing out that you can't drag up past incidents just when it suits.

Do you know exactly what was said? Or even the tone it was said in as that can have/make a HUGE difference.

People just want it to be really bad,as it makes a better story. If you actually watch it with out wanting to turn it into a big drama,it was nothing really.

After listening to the post match interview on the BBC website from Jose, he repeated what he said and it didn't sound great.

Regardless of what was said, as a manager he doesn't have any right to approach the ball boy. Let the ref and his merry men deal with any issues of this nature.

Nothing in my OP mentioned anything to his past.

I see it as a dig to a certain poster rather than to the OP.
