I remember watching a program about him and on normal roads he stated he normal sticks within the limit because he can get the thrill of speed from the testing on the track etc

Seems like he didn't this time. :) I wonder if that will count as his final infraction with the beeb........or is that only applicable to his gob?

Not a fan of speed cameras tbf, I'm more against poor driving than speeding. Obviously hugely excessive speed is different, but with modern cars in certain situations speeding is less of a danger than poor driving.

Im a fan of speed cameras in the right place and used for the right reasons - not to make money

I use to like Clarkson,I think he's a bit of a knob now tho.
Top Gear as gone down hill big time IMO.

I'm still a fan tbh.

I can see why folk think he's a bellend though, but I reckon that's just the part he plays.

Yep i still enjoy Top Gear - never fails to make me laugh and all the presenters make me laugh in their own different way.

Pretty sure 'Mr loophole' has got him off the hook before.

Yes, I remember him complaining recently that he had been caught speeding within an "average speed" zone at midnight on the M6, he admitted speeding and his mitigation was that the workmen weren't on site and as such he ignored the reduced speed limit! if he got off that, has that become a test case for all of us now?

The same way Alex Ferguson got off doing a ton on the motorway because he needed the toilet

Agreed, went downhill maybe 7 or 8 years ago if not longer. Clarkson is just an oaf nowadays, even James May who I used to like gets on my paps.
Like you said in another post it's just far too scripted, I can't watch stuff like that.
