On page 18 in an artical by Martin Samuel in todays Daily Mail (yes i know so thats why i want a second source and some comment) He quotes JN as saying about playing in a Champions event to mark 150 years of the Open Championship at St Andrews saying this.
" It really revolves around the Royal Bank of Scotland. If they want me to do work, yes. Am i coming on my own no"
This is odd on several levels as Samuel points out. JN would be paid (by us the taxpayer now as we own...is it all of RBS!!!)expenses and hotels bills etc.
Not the man doing things for the good of the game that i thought he was!!
RBS did alot of this over the past ten years with various sportsmen.
Does anyone know the truth about this quote
