Played a 36 hole scratch comp earlier this year when things werent going well for me. Started on the 12th (par4) and proceeded to throw in a 10 , so what , wasnt going to ruin my day by worrying about a small thing like the score

And yes I did play the 2nd round and managed to hit buffer

My heart bleeds for you, I would genuinely shoot someone in the face if it meant I could shoot 80 again... I only just managed to shot 80 NETT today.

I'd probably enjoy that more than I'm enjoying golf at the moment...

I never knew that you didn't go up for not bothering. Their scores always say NR against the 2nd round if they f'd off in between so just thought that they went up.

Seems a theme here, slashing down with rain all morning here 80 shots later round the first 18. Why bother playing the afternoon??....Pie & Chips, couple of cheeky pints and bang 74 for the afternoon.

Still drove the ball like an absolute tool though. Short & crooked is not a good combo.

Wasn't Liphook yet J'one. This was Henbury in Bristol, nice little parkland as it goes, pretty tight in places so my short wayward driving wasn't best suited!!
