I've had enough of this

I thought this was going to be a thread saying I've had enough of the arguments on the forum.

Tricked by the click bait:LOL:

We're in North Glasgow and it's been a bit cooler but still outside in Tee and Shorts.
But you northsiders do that when the temperature get's above 65*F - I'm thinking that that harks back to the mid-1960s when some of the good folks of Bearsden and Milngavie start to holiday in Mallorca and came home keen to show off their tan to the rest of peely-wally Glasgow. We southsiders weren't in the slightest bit fazed by such northsider attempts to show that they were better than us - we knew it was just 'show' :)

Ours is on all year, in theory. It's thermostat driven so if it is warm it doesn't come on, if it's cold it does. I don't really get the whole turn it on, turn it off thing. Just leave it on, live a little ?

Took my Mrs quite a while to get to grips with the idea that we don;t switch the heating on and off - it's temperature driven. I have however now got her used to the manual over-ride to switch it on if she's feeling a bit chilly - or simply for the current timer period increase the temperature under which the heating comes on.
