firstly i hit my drives way to high and not sure what i can do to sort it, i have tried a lower tee but that just puts more spin on the ball, any tips would be greatly appreciated

secondly whenever i tee of with a hybrid on a long par 3 i always put a horrible slice on the ball, leaving me nowhere near to the hole, the face is just big enough to be able to hit off a tee but i just cant for soe reason.

all tips will be greatly appreciated.
thanks in advance

Regarding the driver teed lower I think that is a common error of hitting down on the shot rather than sweeping it away. I would imagine (hard to be sure without seeing the swing) that you are probably coming over the top in a steep and chopping action and hitting down. Where do you position the ball for your drives?

With the hybrid I'm guessing its the same swing action (coming from over the top) as the driver. Again have a look at your ball position and focus on making a more sweeping motion

I'm sure there are better qualified guys who can pinpoint the problem more accurately but they are my initial and immediate thoughts.

Dunno about the hybrid bit. I think it depends on how the ball slices ( starts low left and turns violently ? starts straight and drifts right ? starts right and just carries on going ? or just a choppy high slice which is well short of expectation ? )

But with the driver, I'd try teeing it up higher, and practise with a 3/4 swing. And not try to leather it too much - keep it nice and smooth.

I'd guess you get a lot of tension in your body with the driver before you tee off. If you are only making a 3/4 swing, there is no way you'll need to spank it, so less tension, better timing, and hopefully, surprising results.
