Happened me about 2 months ago mate with the exact same putter....From distance it was great...I even had a similar grip to yours which made it even more stable...

I struggled with it from short range...
I had a round one morning and forgot my putter so i borrowed a Seve Icon St Andrews half mallet from our club shop.....I couldnt miss with it so they never got it back....Best 80 notes iv ever spent...
If you like alot of stability then id recommend you try a half mallet...Mines on fire at the moment....

Iv even got my eye now on my old mans Scotty California del mar

Had to put the old TM Rossa in the bag as the Anser is in for a regrip and I can see why the TM went. I hated the look over the ball having looked down on the Ping and I had no confidence in it.

Itsy and I are not speaking and I've a game tomorrow!

Ebay is calling................................

(I must resist !)

Shame you aren't local. You could have had the choice from the TM Rossa, Oddysey white ice # 9, odyssey dualforce 554, and itsy and original size spiders to try out

I was forced to get rid of the rest!

Crawford, i have a Odyssey White Hot Xg Sabretooth Putter i only used a few time, if you want a borrow of it i'll bring it to Machrihanish.

Blimey, Homer's almost got a putter to match every pair of his shoes....... :D

Certainly not me mad, its the stick!

We had a chat today and it was threatened with the loch beside the 7th and it seemed to do the jobby!

Sod's law!

Played yesterday on decent greens and putted pretty solidly all day. Much happier with my putting. To be fair, the greens at my place are still fairly bumpy and soft, hollow cored and sanded only a couple of weeks back so holing putts can be a bit of a lottery.

Anyway putted pretty well all day on the links!

What happend when I get home, I have an email waiting telling me I've had on offer accepted and won a putter I was watching on fleabay!!!! It was a "best offer" and I put in a cheeky bid, £10 under the asking price!

Still its good to have a spare!

It's a common mistake.

Some of us putt on greens that Tiger would struggle to hole a 3 footer on so we get to thinking we're bad putters. Get on to decent greens and it's all change. As long as your stroke's ok then no change needed. Just a bit of luck with the roll.
