it's raining not very heavy, but it is raining, first rain I've seen in over 5 weeks, oh it's stopped now, well those 30-seconds were good while they lasted.

I'm in the hills outside Chepstow........no rain here yet, although forecast some today... we havent had any measurable rain for about 2 months.... and this is blooming Wales, where it rains every day apparently! Had to top up the fish pond using the garden hose yesterday, the poor critters were walking, not swimming!

Evolution in action :D

we had a couple of days at the beginning of last week and a bit yesterday evening.

really freshened up the lawn, which was looking rather brown, haven't really had to cut it in weeks. So may finally get a chance to try my new mower;)

Had a few spots yesterday afternoon, whilst in the pool. 34* in the shade now, and will be in the pool again shortly.

Same here, mowed part of my lawn yesterday and it was like a dust bowl, it’s lashing it down now so the grass will recover with a bit of luck.

You take care out there and make sure you have a drink nearby when in the pool, don’t want you having to keep getting in and out. ;)

Looking at this morning's forecast rain was forecast for most of the day where I live. Glad to be staying a 100 miles away from home. Scheduled to get where I am now by the time I am back home.

Rain has now stopped and the forecast for the rest of the week is to stay warm (low to mid 20s) and dry. I dare say the rain we've just had this morning will have barely sunk into the soil.

Been trying to rain here in the Lake District but not very succesfully. Not had rain for weeks, quite frankly amazing for this rather wet part of the country.

Not a drop for weeks.......and none in the forecast until next Friday....guess that means it'll be howling down tomorrow then....

It rained for about an hour on Saturday which lead to the RAF centenary flyover being cancelled at RIAT which i was looking forward too
