So we all know that alot of us are quite retro and 'cool' (in our age group!) with music. But this time let's not be 'cool' and name some of those 'pop' tunes that have stuck with us over the years.

For starters

Kim Wilde - Kids in America
M - pop music
FGTH - two tribes
The Adventures - broken land
Martha & the Muffins - echo beach

That'll do for now.

I've always kept quiet about this because it is sooooooo cool it is genius.

Brecker Brothers - East River.

I want to buy the rights to it and remix it to make it the smash hit of the summer.

I'd earn MILLIONS!!!

Ok so it didn't quite make the top 30 in the 70s, but what did they know about brilliant funk soul in them days ?

No amount of remixing could save this song ;)

Kagagoogoo, Too shy, that's crap that is.

Great bass in it though, especially on the 12".

It was also one of the first tracks on the new fangled 'Video Jukebox' in the King's Cellars in 1982/83.

50p for 3 tracks if I remember correctly.

Very popular with the ladies.

That, a brandy and babycham, and a quick grope in the back seat on the way home.

Pure class, us Croydonians.
