Guilty Pleasures!

John Barrowman - What About Us?
Susan Boyle - I Dreamed a Dream from Les Miserables, the YouTube video...fantastic.
James Blunt - Carry You Home, (makes me well up!)
Abba - Fernando and Chiquitita.
Katie Perry - I Kissed a Girl, (and I liked it)...once in my head I can't stop singing it, although I don't really like it!

Can't think of any more, though I'm sure there are plenty!

James Blunt is definitely a No No.

Tut Tut.

At the moment, I'm listening to a lot of 80's electropop.
OMD, Depeche Mode, Erasure.
Basically anything with Vince Clarke in.

These aren't "guilty" pleasures.
McCluskey is a ledg

I have OMD on in the car pretty often

Are Friends Electric? - Gary Numan
I can't believe people are naming greats and thinking they're guilty pleasures!

Went to see him at the Hammersmith Odeon many years ago.
Even dyed my hair black and had a side parting
I was a Numanoid
;)
ROFLMAO!

Smiffy, you're not even a "humanoid"

I couldn't imagine you following Numan (head exploding smiley)

Cheeky Git.
I was one of his biggest fans!
Saw him at Biggin Hill once, flying his Harvard.
Got most of his early albums, don't like his newer stuff....bit too dark and heavy for me

Let's face it. Anyone who listens to Depeche Mode and considers it a guilty pleasure is taking too much notice of the lyrics.....

Some of the best music ever written, period. Not the "pop" early stuff, although that has it's place, but the songs on Violator, Songs of F & D etc. are top notch.

Funny that. I like everything before 'Just can't get enough'. After that it was all downhill.

:p

"Real Real Real" and "International Bright Young Thing" are
awesome tracks!

I preferred Who, where, why off Doubt. Used to play it at full volume when the nightclub wasn't open in the early '90s.

My Brother, who's a music buff sent me a cd of a lot of the tracks we used to listen to.
On the way to a society do I put it on, Faith Healer by The Sensational Alex Harvey Band, now if you can listen to that at near full blast in the car, you can listen to anything! The acoustics are amazing.

Oh, guilty pleasures, Andy Williams, to dream the impossible dream. I sing it to myself all the time when playing golf :o

Golfmmad.
