Stableford this morning.
Beautiful sunny morning, what could be better?
Teed off just after 9. Tee shot sliced and straight into the pond! Not the best start.
Carried on regardless, and played steadily. Steady tee shot swing, steady fairway shot, pitch shot and putting. This paid dividends as I carded 20 points on the front 9. Pleased as punch we commenced the back 9. Maintained the steady controlled swing and game plan, even when the heavens opened on the 15th!
I have never played as well in my life!!!
Finished with 41 points and a warm glow inside. Don't know how the rest of the field fared, but I may be looking ata Pro shop voucher to treat myself with.
