A proper miss is when someone who's reached the top of their sport totally cocks up under pressure. Like the subject of this thread.

Not sure if I agree with that or not, perhaps Hunter Mahan had a great feeling that he was going to hole that chip, no pressure only positive thoughts... but then just flubbed it. If something goes wrong we always seem to put it down to pressure as if everything always goes right at all other times


I'm not sure I ever felt pressure in my life, I can miss a 6 footer just as easily when it's for the match as I can when it isn't :D
