Is yours different?

I only have 13 clubs atm :) I will be adding a 3 iron when the mizzies below (MP 52s) arrive this week or next!

Also I lay up on very long par fours as with my handicap its more of a risk going for them in 2 therefore my bag is wedge heavy so I can still have a good go at getting a nett birdie.

I expect my 60 deg will be interchangeable with a 3 wood when I can afford to buy one, depending on the course I play. Currently I do not need one as my course is so open a driver is fine on every non par 3 tee shot.

Yes, it's in my sig.

I like 4 wedges, as I have issues shanking half shots (thought I had it sorted til last Sunday).

I find there is no difference between a 3w and a 5w, as I don't get as good a connection on the 3w. I have solved this by carrying one fairway, a 16.5 degree 4w.

I like a hybrid for use on long par 3s, and for par 5s, and hitting from light rough where a long iron won't work. I only see the point of having one. 21 degrees is long enough, and very easy to hit out of a variety of lies.

I fill the rest of my bag with a driver, a putter, and what ever irons I have room for.

Need at least 1 new wedge and a hybrid or 5 wood, something to look into over the coming weeks/months. Got room in the bag for max 3 more clubs but not sure what they will be or even if I need them all.

I don't carry a driver as i've not been playing long, plus I havn't got one yet, and the wedges I use are just the pw and sw that match my Titleist dci irons. Trying to decide wether to invest in some better clubs this year and hold of joining a club until next year, or stick with what i've got for now and get to play more golf.

The 20* hybrid is in there as it fills the role of a 5wood and a 3iron. Flat out it goes like a 5wood and choked down it goes like a 3iron, and, as such, is much more versatile.

Exra wedge, no 3 wood.

My swing must deloft clubs as my irons all go lower than everyone else and my driver is 13 deg as I need 12/13 to get any decent flight. I can't get a 3 wood off the deck so it's a bit useless to be in the bag as simply a backup driver. I just use 3 iron for safety.

Why you asking Bob?

I was just wondering how people's sets have changed since my first full set which was
1,2,3,4 woods
3-sw
putter

It seems those who differ from the first set I posted have swapped a long club for an extra wedge.
eg
I cant hit my driver/3 wood/3 iron so have swapped it for a 60 deg

8 degree driver
16 degree 3 wood
3-PW
51 degree gap wedge
56 degree sand wedge
60 degree lob wedge

I prefer to have lots of wedges in my bag so I have plenty of options around the green. I don't really have a need for a 5 wood/hybrid, my 3 iron flies plenty far enough and if I can't get to the green with that it's a little cut with the 3 wood.

I have the "bottom end" completely sorted. I love my new wedges and not even sure I need the 60 any more, I'll probably just use it for the odd extreme lob shot. I might need a club, whether it be a 2 iron, 5 wood, hybrid or whatever to bridge the gap between my 3 wood (230 ish) and 3 iron (190ish). Just not figured out what it is yet. And will need to ditch a wedge if I do that. At least I would have the option depending on the course I'm playing.
