Is longer really longer...just read it.

Maybe a whisker longer but not as accurate.

Would have been interesting to see a "head-to-head" with these shafts and an Iron Byron rather than Human swings.
In theory, if hit the sweet spot, the longer shaft should be longer, although they do say that at slower Swing Speeds, a longer shaft actually slows you down....

All these stats! I thought we're all supposed to just hit the ball?

Did Bobby Jones have these figures??...... apparently he did alright!

If you like the look of a club and it goes well buy it!! Does anyone at our level really believe an extra 3 or 4 yards are going to make all the difference?

That said Monty gained 15 yards according to someone on here! That's incredible!

Apparently we all do according to their sales figures :)

Personally I think I hit it far enough................... but can't wait to try the RBZ driver :D:D

without doubt an interesting read. One of the guys in our group is a shortie at about 5.8" and has always struggled with hes 3 & 5 wood because off the length, yet with a hybrid around 2 inches shorter is very consistent, we went to a local club fitter recently and he had 1.5" lopped of hes woods, and the improvement has been very positive. I also tried a g20 recently which i reckon was an inch shorter than my burner, i put a very questionable swing on it, but it still carried as far as my 09 burner. It also felt alot easier to control.

I have a bad case of shiny-itis so didnt try any decent swings, but it did make me wonder if a longer driver not hit quite right, verses a shorter driver nailed could be the way to go. Im currently watching a couple of burners the same spec as mine on ebay that are at a very low price, if i could grand one, id try cutting the shaft in that for comparrison, but the overal plan is to have a lower launching shaft fitted, so the shaft would be getting pulled anyway.
