Is it okay to use baby wipes for cleaning on waterproof golf shoes?

I would have thought it would depend on what the active ingredient in the baby wipe is.
Obviously it cannot be something that will affect skin but may be a mild alcohol solution which I thought would affect something like polish.

I have used baby wipes to clean my shoes for a number of years. I try and get as much mud off at the club and then come home, give them a wipe with a baby wipe to clean them as much as I can. Let them dry, (I put some of those gel sachets in along with shoe horns). The next day I'll put polish on. If they are one of the older pairs I'll add dubbin every couple of wears

Baby wipes are my go to with everything for a quick clean. Bring the white shoes up nice and clean.

Also find they're pretty good and getting into grooves on a club face.

Yep, always use baby wipes to clean my golf shoes, although, we seem to have switched to the Costco kitchen wipes now. They still clean my shoes and clubs just fine.
