The swindle I play in is 7 pounds to enter. The winner gets nothing, other than a massive cut, and the privilege of getting off his bum and fetching all the drinks. The money all gets spent on drinks. 36 players at 7 a pop = 252 behind the bar, plus food, plus more for those who stay on after the pot is spent.

How much are drinks at your place?

One of the ones I play in is £2 for the individual and £1 for the best group. Prizes and cuts for 1st and 2nd. If there is a tie we buy lottery tickets although I can't help thinking we should change that next year for something more beneficial.

The other one is £4, winner takes all but has to buy the drinks. However, the person with the lowest score has to get physically get the drinks while wearing a "Best Bitch" or "Senior Bitch" Dog Show Rosette depending on age.
