Being a senior golfer my distance with driver isn’t what it used to be, I can’t seem to get a decent whoosh at impact
Experimenting in the garden I tried a bent front arm at the top and got a much louder whoosh
If I take this to the course will this cause other problems such as direction
I need more distance as courses are getting softer with minimal roll
Any thoughts guys

Try it and see.
Lots of less young golfers lose a bit of flexibility and bending the front arm helps to create more speed.
However this extra hinge may cost you some accuracy so swings and roundabouts.
If you can, try it on the range first and see how it goes.

I doubt if it’s 90 Bob, more 75 to 80 when I look behind in my practice swing, basically to see the club face angle
