I could be in real strife over this as I've just booked for Portugal in September, but for a chance to see Guinness in its native environment . . . now anyone got a donkey cart handy?

Just had a look at deals for Druids Glen/Heath 2 nights B&B and one round on each course, £219 per person sharing or £155 for two rounds and one night B&B. based on last weekend in May.

That's not too bad but the only thing is the beer would be fairly steep I would think. Still am quite happy to go with the flow.

Thats damned good I wonder if Frank would do anything if you spoke to him direct?

T
hree rounds and 2 nights for 180 super smashing great!

Is there much other nightlife up that way Chris? Dont want to be restricted to the hotel only.

But its as good a deal as Ballyliffin was and two good courses

Letterkenny is around 30 mins away which is hopping, if you stay in the Milford Inn it is around 15 or so

Have a look here lists the 2012 top 100 in Ireland

Was up there in the summer and had a wander around ,both courses are fantastic and just as good as Ballyliffin, Letterkenny is only 30 mins away and is the party capital of the North West, says it all really.

Some good deals out there at the moment for next year. I played Druids Heath, a fine course kept in good condition. The price of a pint will be heavy down their €5 plus. They are fine courses though.
Druids Glen resort is less than an hour from Dublin airport. I would also like Rossapenna, and having no major distractions works fine for me as I am not one for Pubs.

Brilliant:D

The drunkest man in Ireland at the Ballyliffin meet, says he's not into pubs:eek:

You couldnt make it up;)

Got a reply from Ballyliffin GC and they will honour last years prices of €50 per game so would work out at £155 for the two nights B&B and two rounds of golf as pre last year. We would need to get similar numbers again though.
