As the title suggests, its poll time to see where and when suits most folks.

After the writeup and photos of the ICC 2011, hopefully this should be a goer. Register your interest and we'll see how it goes.

Not sure about the maths with only 3 votes in.
33.33% for May, June and July.
33.33% for North Coast, West coast - and?

Your geography is a bit off Mount Juilet is right in the middle of the country, Concra Woods is more east coast.
I would be interested but only if it is within a hour of Dublin. So the poll is very missleading maybe a few more options, like Dublin Portmarnock, Donegal Rospenna/Ballyliffen, Sligo Rosses Point/Enniscrone, Galway Galwaybay, Down Royal County Down/Ardglass u get the idea.
Sorry to pick holes in the Poll but asking someone to choose a option with lahinch and rosses point is like putting London and Manchester in the same option.

Mike, this is a general poll, same as last year, once we get general locations set, we go specific. (General is the key word)
Concra wood isnt on the coast so it was mentioned in central as it is inland, each of the other options are mostly links courses (or at most 3-4 miles from the coast), for this reason I seperated it as it isnt. Mount juliet should have been central, apologies) Course names are to give non local guys an idea as they may have heard of them before.

It would be very easy to say right who wants rosapenna or druids Glen etc but the offers may not be on so polling for rough areas of coast or inland leaves the options open to find the best deal then see where we go from there. For what its worth, we had a lot of scottish guys over, 2 dutch guys, 1 dubliner, 1 Bangorian, 2 belfasters and a couple of Donegallians (I made some of those words up!).
It is a cracking weekend and I wouldnt limit mylself to one hour travel, especially when there could be a few guys heading from the same place.

I have not put in a preference as I am going to be getting on a plane to wherever. Convenience to an airport would help but I do not know the geography well enough to say which is best.

Other than that, all I need is a golf course and a pub and I am led to believe that Ireland has plenty of both.

Brendy,
your a grand fella, but we could be on for a major falling out. I hope your not referring to me as a Dub. I am from Louth and proud. Everywere is good for me, May/June also, good company and a bit of fun is as important to me as the golf.

No offence but if your only prepared to travel within an hour do you really have a say considering people are going to be traveling by plane train and automobile!!!

well if he is only prepared to travel for an hour or two tops then the location matters to him, to those prepared to fly/drive for hours it matters less.

But we do all like to accomadate the wishes of those travelling furthest for their effort and argue with those prepared to travel least for their stubborness :) its just our nature.

anyways East Coast and id be very interested.

even North Coast would tempt me.

all the best to whoever is in the organising chair! (Brendy/Chris or whoever)
