Introduction to the Midlands

I have just moved to Birmingham from Cardiff, and to make up for the disappointment of leaving Celtic Manor behind, I'm keen to get out on some courses up here.

If any plays round these parts, I would be more than happy to head out for a game some time. I can play in the week and weekends (till I find a job up here!).

In return, I still have 3 months of membership left at CM so I can reciprocate down there...

Where abouts in Birmingham are you. I am north of Brum 10 miles or so. Should be able to meet up at some point for a game either at my track or somewhere convenient.

I'm living in the city centre, but I have my car so travel is no problem.

Sorry to hear you've had to leave Celtic Manor! I'm hoping to get down there this year to play the Monty and the Twenty Ten after I found out a friend of mine is a member!

Good news is, there are plenty of nice courses in the Midlands.

(Relatively) close to you there's The Forest of Arden, The Belfry and Beau Desert. Then if you drive an hour east to the East Midlands, there's Woodhall Spa, Sherwood Forest, Belton Park, to name but a few.

I work in Brum and am a member at Oakridge (Nuneaton), what I would describe as a cheap & cheerful track. Your more than welcome to join me - just don't expect it to be like CM.
